Browsers require a user gesture before starting audio. Tap a harmonium key, the drone button, the metronome, or Listen first to enable it.

No. The current harmonium, drone, and shruti-box tones are synthesized in your browser with the Web Audio API.

Yes. The keyboard stays playable in portrait view and scrolls horizontally for the remaining notes. Rotation is optional.

Z is the panic-stop key. It releases every sounding harmonium voice if a computer-key event is missed.

It changes the Sargam relationship and drone root. Western key pitches stay fixed, which makes the mapping easier to learn.

Choose a pitch that keeps your lower and upper practice notes relaxed. If you sing, avoid forcing the range simply to use a particular letter name.

Sa–Pa uses the tonic and fifth as drone anchors. Sa–Ma uses the tonic and fourth. The lesson or raga context can determine which support is more suitable.

The harmonium keyboard exercise does not listen. The separate voice phrase coach listens only after you select Start listen & sing, analyses pitch locally, and stops after the scored phrase.

It combines fixed pitch accuracy, voiced coverage, and the timing of each note transition. It does not judge meend, andolan, vocal quality, or gharana-specific intonation, so use it as a practice cue rather than an artistic verdict.

They are stored in IndexedDB in this browser on this device. They are not uploaded by the studio recorder.

Open Practice Progress from the main navigation. Voice scores, ear-training answers, guided harmonium rounds, Daily Riyaz completions, and recordings remain on this device with no account or cloud sync.

Browser storage can be removed when site data is cleared or by storage-management policies. Download any attempt you want to keep permanently.

No. After you enable the microphone, the tuner analyses short audio frames in this browser and displays pitch information. It does not record, store, or upload the raw microphone audio.

Web MIDI support varies. The Connect MIDI control appears in every browser, but unsupported browsers will explain that touch and computer keys remain available.

The selected phrase, keyboard layout, octave, transpose, Sa, tempo and next note are included. A personal phrase link also includes the notes you entered or captured. Anyone with the link or chart QR code can open those notes; recordings are not included.

Choose Download phrase PNG beneath the note cards. The image includes laptop keys, Sargam, beat lengths, rests and a QR code that restores the same phrase and settings. You can download it during practice.

Play a guided phrase or choose Save for later. Continue last practice appears on Home, Songs and Progress on this device. A shared link or downloaded QR chart also restores the selected phrase and next note; use Continue phrase to begin playing.

Nothing is saved to a teacher account. The builder encodes selected practice settings in a URL, creates the QR image locally, and provides iframe code. Anyone with the link can open those settings.

No. The scale map is an orientation aid. Phrase grammar, emphasis, approach, ornament, register, time, and lineage are also important, so each page includes a source and limitations.

Daily completion time and routine length stay in localStorage in this browser. They are not synced to an account and disappear if you clear site data.

No. Playable notation is limited to original site exercises and short public-domain or carefully classified traditional teaching fragments. The library does not include third-party recordings or modern-song lyrics.

No. It provides evenly spaced beats and a cycle accent. Tala also includes sam, tali, khali, vibhag, and characteristic rhythmic organisation.
