Learn the tune in three steps

  1. Start with Sa = C, original layout, octave 4 and transpose 0. The first C is laptop key E. Black-key bindings appear on the keyboard too.
  2. Choose a phrase and select Listen first. The number beneath each note tells you how many beats to hold it. Slow the tempo if needed, then choose Practise now.
  3. Play the highlighted notes in order. When a phrase is complete, choose Next phrase. Download its PNG or save your place before leaving.

The player waits for the correct pitch and octave; it does not score your rhythm. Use the reference playback and metronome to work on timing. “Tap” means that a note is available on the screen outside the selected laptop bindings.

Keep your next practice ready
